Welcome to PopBox Events (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings and use of our website www.popboxevents.com (“the Website”). By placing a booking or using this site, you agree to be bound by these terms.


1. Company Information

PopBox Events is a UK-based party and balloon hire business, offering decorative items, event styling, and hire services for private and corporate functions.


2. Bookings

2.1. Bookings can be made via our website, social media, or direct contact with our team.
2.2. A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit (see Clause 4).
2.3. Final balances (if applicable) must be paid no later than 7 days before the event date. Failure to pay in full may result in cancellation of services.


3. Pricing

3.1. All prices are quoted in GBP and may include VAT where applicable.
3.2. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Confirmed bookings will not be affected by price changes.


4. Deposits and Payments

4.1. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
4.2. The deposit covers administrative time, consultation, materials preparation, and loss of other potential bookings for the reserved date.
4.3. By paying the deposit, you accept that it is non-refundable under any circumstances, including customer cancellation or event changes.
4.4. The remaining balance (if applicable) is due 7 days before the event. If the balance is not received, we reserve the right to cancel your booking without refund of any amounts paid.


5. Cancellations & Amendments

5.1. If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing as soon as possible.
5.2. Deposits are non-refundable. Refunds of any additional payments (beyond the deposit) will be considered only if cancellation is made more than 14 days before the event.
5.3. In the event of extreme circumstances (e.g. venue closure, bereavement, severe weather), we may offer a one-time rebooking or credit note at our sole discretion.
5.4. We reserve the right to cancel a booking due to circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, a full refund (including deposit) will be provided.


6. Delivery and Collection

6.1. Delivery and collection times will be confirmed at the time of booking.
6.2. The client is responsible for ensuring access to the venue at the agreed time.
6.3. Late access or failure to provide entry may result in delayed setup or non-delivery without refund.


7. Damage, Loss & Liability

7.1. You are responsible for all hired items from delivery until collection.
7.2. Any damage, loss, or theft will be charged at full replacement cost.
7.3. We accept no liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from misuse of our items or failure to follow provided safety instructions.


8. Use of Website

8.1. The content of this website is for general information only and may change without notice.
8.2. You must not misuse the Website by knowingly introducing viruses or other harmful material.


9. Privacy Policy

9.1. We collect personal data only for the purpose of processing your booking.
9.2. Your data will never be sold or shared without your consent, except where legally required.

10. Governing Law
